NextGen AI Pty Ltd (“NextGen AI”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates an online platform of project-based AI courses covering large language models, prompting, automation, and generative media. This Privacy Policy applies to nextgenai.com and all associated services. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to the practices described below.

1. What we collect

We collect only what we need to deliver and improve your learning experience:

• Account information — your name, email address, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), and optional profile details you choose to add.
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we retain only limited details such as the card brand, last four digits, and billing country for receipts and fraud prevention.
• Usage data — course progress, quiz and project submissions, watch history, device and browser type, IP address, and interactions with our platform, used to power your dashboard and improve our courses.

2. How we use it

We use your information to provide access to purchased courses, track your learning progress, process payments and issue receipts, respond to support requests, send essential service and account notifications, and analyse aggregate usage so we can build better content. With your consent, we may also send occasional product updates and course recommendations — you can opt out at any time from the footer of any marketing email or from your account settings.

3. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how our platform is used. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function; analytics and preference cookies are optional. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly if essential cookies are blocked.

4. Payment processing

Card payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. Your card details are sent directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection and are never stored on our servers. For enrolments paid by bank transfer, we collect only the reference details needed to reconcile your payment and confirm your enrolment. All pricing is shown and charged in Australian dollars (AUD).

5. Data storage & security

Your data is stored using Supabase, our managed database and authentication provider, on infrastructure protected by encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We apply role-based access controls, row-level security, and regular backups. While no online service can guarantee absolute security, we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated data, export your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent for optional processing such as marketing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@nextgenai.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.

7. Third parties

We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run the platform — including Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and authentication), and analytics and email delivery partners. These providers are bound by contract to process your data only on our instructions and to keep it secure. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

8. Children

NextGen AI is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. International users

NextGen AI is an Australian company, and your information may be stored and processed in Australia and other countries where our service providers operate. Where data is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives an equivalent level of protection. By using our platform, you consent to this transfer, storage, and processing.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or legal obligations. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the platform. Your continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
